The principal remaining ground for refusal in transactions involving agricultural and forestry land is the provision that the purchase price must not exceed the market value (gemeiner Wert) of the property by more than 30 per cent. Agricultural and forestry land may therefore only be sold at a price that does not exceed the market value by more than 30 per cent.
